Mirror Galvanometer Manufactured by Philip Harris, Instrument Maker of Birmingham. Used to Detect Minute Electrical Forces. Mirror Galvanometers were used to Detect the Messages Sent on the First Trans Atlantic Cables because the Signals were so Weak. Invented by Lord Kelvin.
