Lakeland Watercolour signed and dated and inscribed W Taylor Longmire (1841-1914). Landscape and Animal Painter in Watercolour and Oil. Born in the Lake District, he worked locally and although working in a rather naive manner, he was able at times to produce charming pictures such as this delightful winter lakeland scene of skaters.
