Planning your visit

Visiting Hemswell Antique Centres

Located just a few miles from the historic City of Lincoln, Hemswell Antique Centres is renowned as the largest antiques centre in Europe. With four buildings and two coffee shops on site, there are thousands of antiques and collectables to peruse at your leisure.

Parking

There is FREE parking available outside the front of each building. The Guardroom also has an additional car park to the rear of the building. A large carpark that used to be the “parade square” when used as an RAF base, is situated conveniently in an area surrounded by three of our buildings. Therefore, giving you an enjoyable walk between the centres allowing you to park in one place.

(SUNDAYS ONLY - There is a small charge for some of the carparks) This does not include any carparks directly outside our buildings.

Sundays only

Due to there being an outdoor Car boot and Sunday Market. Please note this is a separate business from the Antiques Centre. Some carparks are charging £2.
All our own carparks directly outside our buildings are FREE.

Our disabled customers

There is wheelchair access to the ground floors of all our buildings, including access to the coffee shops in Building 1 and The Guardroom. There is wheelchair access to outdoor seating areas at both our coffee shops.

Should you wish to view something that is upstairs in any of our buildings please ask a member of our team who will assist. Small items can be brought downstairs for those unable to manage the stairs. We can also arrange a virtual tour of larger pieces of furniture by way of video calling via Facetime, WhatsApp using our Building Mobile Phone and Tablet.

Dog owners

Unfortunately, we do not allow dogs inside the buildings to avoid risk of injury to your pets (except guide or assistance dogs). There are plenty of open grass areas for them to have a run if brought with you. We expect our dog loving customers to be responsible pet owners and to not leave their animals in the car during the hot summer months.

Your dogs are welcome to join you for a drink in the outside seating areas of our Coffee Shops located in Building One or The Guardroom, where a side entrance will be opened for you, upon request (Guardroom Coffee Shop).

Customers with small children

Families are very welcome to The Centres but we are not a playground. Please be mindful that supervision is required at all times with so many breakable items around. We have changing facilities for our very small guests that can be found in Building 1 Coffee Shop.

Coach parties & large groups

If you would like to book in a coach party please do not hesitate to contact us for a warm welcome. We have a large carpark that can comfortably accommodate coaches. We offer a meet and greet service should you require. If you are able to give us prior notice of your arrival we would be grateful, so that we can notify our coffee shops – to make extra cakes!

Any further information then please do contact us - email: enquiries@hemswell-antiques.com

We are open every day of the year, apart from Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day 10am to 5pm (Christmas Eve & New Years’ Eve 10am- 2.30pm). We are open all over Easter.
