Description
This beautiful signed oil on board painting by William Lakin Turner (1867-1936) is titled "Summer Wood". The tranquil landscape captures a sun dappled path winding through a dense forest of mature, moss covered trees. Turner's masterful brushwork and rich, earthy palette highlight the textured bark and leafy canopy, evoking a serene summer day. The artwork is clearly signed "W.L. TURNER" in the bottom right corner and is housed in an elegant, ornate gilt wood frame.
