Description
Large Copper Ships Lamp.
Originally a masthead navigation lantern, used to signal a vessel's position and direction. Identifiable by the "MASTHEAD" badge on its front, it was designed to show a clear white light ahead and to either side of the ship.
It features a thick, ribbed Fresnel glass lens, a precision optical design that intensifies the light to make it visible over long distances at sea.
