Description
Parian ware is a type of bisque (mainly used for busts and figurines) porcelain that was designed to imitate the appearance of marble. It was developed around 1845. As it was prepared and cast in liquid form it could be mass produced. The largest factories in the 19thc producing parian ware were Minton and Copeland. This charming little parian ware bust would fit into any interior modern or traditional and would make a welcome gift for any occasion.
