Description
On French ceramics and decorative arts, a ram's head represents Neoclassical revivalism, symbolising classical authority, leadership, sacrifice, and pastoral abundance derived from ancient Greek, Roman, and 18th-century Louis XVI design.
Marked on base, the vase however is not without faults with minor cracks around inner top rim (refer pictures). Considered a scarce collector’s find.
