Description
A highly stylised antique Art Deco majolica wall charger designed by the renowned German ceramicist Gustav Heinkel for the Karlsruhe State Majolica Manufactory (Staatliche Majolika-Manufaktur Karlsruhe), dating to circa 1928–1940.
It features a dramatic, dynamic arrangement of leaping big cats (leopards and lions) swirling around a central cluster of yellow berries or stylised blossoms.
