A pair of gorgeous porcelain vases made by Samuel Alcock , a well-known Staffordshire manufacturer well regarded for high quality wares and original designs, often standing out for their bright choice of colours and beautiful shapes.

These vases date back to year 1840 of Rococo Revival era.

They are beautifully shaped, decorated in rich maroon, elaborately gilded and skilfully hand painted with gorgeous paradise birds in reserves.

Marked to the bottom with the pattern number 1116

Dimensions: height – 20 cm, width (including handles) – 12 cm.

Condition: both vases are in rare to find perfect condition and can be used as vases but look just stunning on display.
