Description

Yorkshire Ordinary Type pottery toby jug, the toby dressed in a brown jacket over a spotted waistcoat with green breeches, his complexion is pale, typical of Yorkshire pottery, his face with rosy cheeks, his mouth is open, showing his teeth. His tricorn hat has minor repair to brim. His jug with floral decoration, with brighter colours elsewhere typical of Yorkshire, all to a red sponged base. Circa 1800.
