Description

An original penny black stamp printed in 1840. Of the twelve printing plates that were used to produce the stamp, this is probably from plate 1b and has the initials OK to the bottom corners. It has a fine clear maltese cross cancellation. The stamp has four very good margins, making it in excellent condition. The stamp has later been mounted in a custom made multi window mount, glazed and framed. Dealer Code: 3297.
