Description
A charming and highly collectible vintage Powder Compact by the American maker La Mode. This piece is crafted in the distinctive and appealing Heart Shape, a popular 'Sweetheart' design particularly common in the 1940s. The compact's lid features a beautiful layer of Enamel decoration, likely Guilloché Enamel (where a machine turned pattern beneath the translucent enamel adds depth and shimmer), often decorated with floral motifs such as roses. Crucially, the compact is described as Unused.
