Description
An oak anchor lamp with an enamel label bearing the name MV Worcestershire re-wired and PAT tested. Motor vessel Worcestershire was built as a passenger ship in 1931 for Bibby Line Liverpool which travelled extensively from London to Rangoon. In September 1939 to 1943 it was requisitioned by the Admiralty as an armed merchant cruiser and troop carrier.
