Description
Substantial Gilded Green Alabaster Table Lamp, adapted from a Victorian oil lamp.
A grand Neoclassical-style gilded and green alabaster table lamp, the main shaft is carved from green alabaster. The Corinthian-style capital at the top is decorated with acanthus leaf motifs, the pierced square base features intricate "fretwork" or fleur-de-lis patterns, elevated on decorative bracket feet.
It is topped with a period-style cream fabric shade featuring a damask swirl pattern and a delicate glass bead fringe.
Rewired and tested.
