Description
A bronze sculpture, the continuous profile of Mussolini, mounted on a wooden base with a plaque 'DUX R. Bertelli', (DUX stands for Duce).
Renato Bertelli (1900-1974) was an Italian Futurism artist, best known for his 1933 sculpture, Profilo Continuo del Duce (Continuous Profile of the Leader), which depicted Benito Mussolini's profile in a 360-degree circle. This sculpture, also known as "Head of Mussolini," was produced in various materials, including terracotta, bronzed terracotta, wood, bakelite and aluminium.
