This is a vintage decorative bull statue. A Continental, bronze and marble desk ornament in the manner of A.L. Barye, dating to the mid 20th century, circa 1960.
Fascinating study of an adolescent bull with great character
Displays a desirable aged patina throughout
Quality bronze shows dark tones and fine detail
Anatomically correct, with well presented face and muscular haunches
Stands upon a black marble base, dressed with green baize to reverse
Engraved to base after Antoine-Loius Barye (1795 - 1875)
