A Substantial 18th Century Pewter Charger or Sadware backstamped with the Yorkshire Rose. Large numbers of sadware was made in Britain in the 18th century when people decided to change their wooden trenchers for pewter, unfortunately only a small fraction of these are still around. This is one of the surviving 18th century examples.
