Description

This is a very interesting group of antique 19th century letters, documents and newspaper cuttings. They all are from, and relate to the Herries family, and date from about 1840 to 1850. Mostly Herbert Crompton Herries (1829-1870) to his parents and siblings, mostly whilst he was at Eton and Cambridge. The handwriting is a little difficult at times to read, but would make an interesting project to research. About 130 items in total. Dealer Code: 3079.
