Description
A superb Beswick porcelain hunting group comprising a huntswoman seated side-saddle on a dappled grey horse, elegantly modelled with fine attention to equestrian detail. She is accompanied by five foxhounds three with noses to the ground in mid-scent, and two alert in a standing position each realistically posed and painted in classic hound markings. Completing the scene is a single fox, cleverly positioned to suggest motion and tension within the hunt narrative.
