Description
Original 1950s 'Wedding Bees' Part Set of Five Figures of Bees by Goebel of Germany. Comprises the Wedding Bee Couple (Bride & Groom) KT131, Wedding Bee Cellist KT130B, Wedding Bee Drummer KT130E, Wedding Bee Accordionist KT130F and the Wedding Bee Violinist KT130C. All with the Goebel blue backstamp as well as impressed marks. All in excellent condition, no restoration, slight age crazing. To be completely accurate, the top of the hair of the violinist has a minute nibble (only seen with an eye glass), and the overglazed paintwork of the ladybird at the back of the wedding couple has a couple of tiny flakes off the enamel. This is minimal and does not detract from these very rare figures. Wonderful.
