Description
This large Japanese Arita porcelain charger features a charming underglaze blue and white design of two rabbits amongst flowering narcissus. The central composition is framed by a traditional bamboo fence and distant shrubbery, executed with varying shades of cobalt blue wash. The rabbits are rendered with delicate line work, highlighting their expressive features and soft forms.
