Description

An Edwardian stoneware commemorative jug, fitted with a sterling silver rim collar hallmarked Robert Stebbings, London, 1902. The cobalt blue glazed vessel features relief oval portrait medallions of King Edward VII and Queen Alexandra, interspersed with stylized Art Nouveau floral motifs including shamrocks, roses, and thistles. Raised bands of lettering commemorate the coronation of Their Majesties in 1902. Fitted with a loop handle.
