Description
Original Golden Oak Stool with rectangular top and tressle type legs by Colin Almack, known as the 'Beaverman', so a carved beaver is to be found to the top, right hand side. Colin trained and worked for Robert 'Mouseman' Thompson in Kilburn from the 1940s, but set up his own workshop in the 1960s in Thirsk and later at Sutton-under-Whitestonecliffe in Yorkshire. Some age wear and marks. A lovely, rare, little piece!
