Description
Original 1940s Valve Radio - Model no. BD 4750 made by GEC (General Electric Company) of London. This is a stylish post-war Art Deco example with stunning mahogany veneered case that still has a good shine. Original bakelite knobs, back board intact (and inside appears clean). The dial is in perfect condition. Some minor age wear, there are a couple of louvres with repairs. Superb looking item sold not in working order, may just need a re-wire, sold purely as a decorative collectors item. Heavy. Circa 1947.
