Description
Original 1920s/30s Art Deco Novelty Ashtray designed by Henry Howell to be retailed by Dunhill, in the form of a comical bird in carved wood with original paintwork, glass eyes and a black bakelite beak, standing on a macassar wood base with ash tray. Lovely little piece, an authentic original, not in the style of, as fully stamped underneath with YZ Trademark Made in England. Superb Original Condition. Good Patina. A rare chance.
