Description
Hand blown glass bottle, rounded shape with two concave sides and clear glass stopper. The body in heavy clear glass with inclusions of green specks. Inscribed on the base André Thuret.
André Thuret was one of the most important French glass makers of the 20th century. His work was inspired by the work of Maurice Marinot. His sinuous forms in heavy, clear glass with metallic and coloured inclusions are sculptural studies in light, colour and form. His pieces span from Art Deco through to the 1950’s.
