Description

A fabulous quality large limited edition "London Vase" circa 1969 of footed form. Designed by John Luxton for Stuart Crystal. The bell shaped bowl engraved with London Landmarks, St Paul's Cathedral, Tower Bridge and the Houses of Parliament, on a facet stem and slice cut domed base, with original foil label. It is a limited edition of 50 vases, this is number 19. It comes with a numbered cerificate of authenticity. The vase is signed and numbered to the base. The original purchase receipt is tucked behind the cerificate, it was purchased in 1969 for £168, which equates to almost £2,500 in today's money.
Designed and produced as a centrepiece for a promotional exhibition of Stuart Crystal at Harrods Ltd London.
