Ships Mahogany Mercury Barometer.
Rare 19th-century mahogany marine stick barometer, of British origin. Designed specifically for use at sea, it features a slender, squared-section mahogany trunk and specialised brass fittings to withstand maritime conditions.

John Newton (London) was a well-regarded scientific instrument maker active in the mid-19th century.
