Description
Circa 1840.
A tall mahogany case with swan neck pediment and boxwood stringing.
The arch dial is painted with a battle scene of the Duke of Wellington at Waterloo and titled ‘The Lammie’ to the centre of the dia.
The corner spandrels are painted with emblems of the four continents, Australia not having been discovered at this time.
Arabic minutes and Roman hours around a seconds ring and date ring.
Brass hands and pendulum bob, and cast iron weights.
Works cleaned and fully restored, sold with a five year mechanical guarantee.
Delivery and set up can be arranged.
