Description

French Rococo style mantel clock featuring an 8-day mechanical movement that strikes the hour and half hour on a gong. The clock has been fully restored and is in working order. Ornate case design consistent with Rococo styling. Features a white enamelled dial with black roman numerals. Lacquered red shell surrounded by brass with floral detailing either side.
V. Depose is written to the bottom of the dial. Circa 1855.

There is a small crack to the lacquer on the top front of the clock. Please View photos carefully as they form part of the description. We can provide more photographs of any specific areas and a condition report if required.
