Description

Original 1940s Art Deco Cream/Pink Acrylic Cased Clock with Automata Rocking Ship. The iconic 'Vitascope' clock, made in the Isle of Man, with a 'start' roller mechanism to the back. This has the original green painted back with light on/off switch. This has been fully re-wired with old style cable and pat tested, and the 'clipper' ship gently moves up and down to the waves whilst the colour of the sky changes. Replacement handles specially made. The case is in good order with a little fading and a minor crack to the bottom right hand corner (see photos). I have had this clock working well, but they are known to be temperamental, especially if sending in the post, so selling with no guarantees. A rare chance to won such a beautiful piece of Art Deco design.
