Antique 19th Century Mahogany Homeopathic Medicine Chest

Fabulous antique mid 19th century mahogany homeopathic medicine chest. The set by T. Turner & Co. of London and Manchester. The quality mahogany box with brass handle and escutheon with hinged lid with leather lined interior. It has its original key, which is held at reception. The interior is fully fitted with clear glass phials, each of the phials with labels and most with cork bungs. Some of the phials still have their contents. A leather bound copy of 'The Homeopathic Domestic Physician' by Constantine Hering, dated 1858. A pull up brass pin releases a bottom drawer containing further phials and larger glass bottles, some with liquid contents, and a boxed glass measuring cup. A fabulous item complete with contents. 'Warning' there are still pills and liquids present, so please keep away from children. Due to the nature of the contents, the box will be kept locked whilst out on display, please ask at reception for the key.
