Description

This interesting set of vintage Pathology and Histology glass microscope slides, complete in a wooden Victorian microscope slide cabinet which holds twelve trays. Each tray has 6 slots so the box will hold up to 72 slides. Slides mainly from the animal kingdom, such as 'hair of seal', 'section of hoof buffalo',' eggs of butterfly', 'wing of house fly' and 'feather emu'. Also a few Geological slides, such as 'Syenite' and 'Garnet bearing mica schist' and the Plant world such as 'section of pepper plant' and 'pear'.

This vintage wooden scientific slide box and slides are a unique and collectible piece of history, perfect for science enthusiasts or antique collectors. The glass slides showcase intricate scientific illustrations and would have been used for educational purposes in a laboratory setting.
