19th Century Victorian Burr Walnut Book Slide. With brass mounts to both ends. Makers label for Parkins and Gotto of London, who were one of the finest makers of boxes in the Victorian Era.
These slides served both practical and aesthetic purposes, protecting books while adding a touch of elegance.
