Antique WW1 period wicker basket trunk, a sturdy canvas lined trunk with leather straps & more unusually, with some history.

Originally the property of Bertrum Dobbs & believed used by him during his time as an aircraft mechanic in the Royal Flying Corps during 1917 & the R.A.F, 1918. (Forces war records.. B. Dobbs.. service No 56303.).

The trunk is accompanied by a note from Mr Dobbs granddaughter & two original photographs, one of Bertrum Dobbs himself in his 1917 R.F.C uniform & a further 1918 photo of his sweetheart Dora, who later became his wife.
