Pair of Late Nineteenth Century Gilt Bronze Twin Branch Candlesticks.
Features a classic putti or cherub design, modelled after the renowned work of the French sculptor Claude Michel (known as Clodion, 1738–1814). Each figure depicts a playful putto holding aloft two scrolling foliate branches terminating in urn-shaped candle nozzles.
