Description

A high quality burr walnut vanity box, circa 1850, complete with original contents and featuring a secret drawer. The exterior shows rich burr walnut grain, while the interior retains its fitted compartments housing the original items. The concealed drawer adds a notable feature to the piece. The box demonstrates detailed craftsmanship and remains in good condition for its age.

Fitted purple velvet lined interior with lidded compartments. Four glass storage jars with two wooden lidded deep compartments. Handles to either side of the front compartment allow it to lift up for more useful storage.
The hidden drawer provides an excellent place for hiding expensive jewellery.

Complete with key and working lock.
