Description
A mahogany writing box with brass bound detailing, circa 1860. The box features quality craftsmanship with decorative brass corner mounts and edging. The overall construction appears consistent with mid-19th century examples. Opens up to a fitted interior offering stationery storage and writing slope featuring a green leather surface. Top comes away for extra storage of secret notes.
