Description

An Original WW2 German Helmet. The liner is original and authentic to this helmet and marked C. Korn. Alzey, the premier German manufacturer and dated 1940. The helmet is also stamped RL239/95 indicating, Reichsluftscutzbund. In common with the vast majority of World War 2 Nazi helmets all outside insignia has been removed. Many helmets have, at a much later date, been re-nazified and can usually be spotted when the insignia appears to bright or bold compared to the rest of the general condition of the metal of the helmet. Likewise, if the liner is not stamped, it is almost certain to be a more modern replacement, so beware of items like this as they are most likely not to be fully original.
