Description
This authentic 19th century Imperial Russian Dragoon officer's sword is a fine example of the Model 1881 pattern. The curved steel blade is clearly dated & bears original arsenal stamps alongside the Imperial double headed eagle. The hilt is constructed from cast brass, featuring a single knuckle bow & a ribbed wooden grip. It comes with its original leather covered wooden scabbard, complete with brass fittings & a single suspension ring for traditional edge up carriage. The blade remains in good condition with a visible fuller & minimal pitting.
