Description
Original 1930s Picnic Gramophone by Decca. The '85' model with gold coloured fittings, brown velvet turntable and polished wooden base. Needle holder to the side, full of needles. There is a removable case in the top that holds 78s including a couple of Decca shellacs. The black case is in good order, there is age wear to the metalware, but overall a very clean machine. Comes with the original winding handle and appears to work very well, the sound is good.
Note: The stay/hinge is missing, so the top goes all the way back. Also the sound box was badly damaged and was unuseable, so has been repaired so is now useable, but would recommend a new sound box to be acquired. A lovely looking 'de-luxe' set.
