Description
Japanese Shodana Circa 1870. A beautiful and stunning edition to your home. This Meiji period piece is inlaid with mother of Pearl and ivory, Ivory certificate KUN1V2C7 registered historic. On a beautiful blue enamel background which highlights the carving and brown raised wood. Extensively carved and chased wood, with the large crane bird carving to top. The Japanese used these pieces of furniture to show their most prized and precious items. Featuring three drawers, cupboards and open shelving on a separate base, but of modest proportions this beautiful furniture will grace any home including more modern smaller houses.
