Description
Designed by Arno Malinowski this item served as a quiet but potent symbol of Danish unity and resistance during the German occupation in World War II.
Featuring the Royal Crown atop the Kings monogram (CX) set against the Danneburg (Danish Flag) The dates 1870 (The Kings birth) and 1940 (The Kings 70th Birthday) are engraved to the base of the shield.
