Description
A lovely original oil on canvas of a seaside scene by well known artist John Hanley. Born in 1947, he went to school in Blackburn, and met L.S. Lowry whilst a pupil. This meeting had a lifelong influence on his work. Although Hanley worked as a draughtsman, after retirement, he took up painting full time, and specialises in northern life.
This busy picture is typical of his artwork, and you can clearly see the Lowry style. There is so much going on in the painting, and you see something new each time you look at it.
Mounted in a plain black frame.
