Description
Mary (Alice) Fitzpayne (b.1928).
Born in Catterick, scholarship Leeds and Central School of Art & Design.
Known for painting clowns and homeless people. Works seen in the British Museum, solo exhibition at the Usher Art Gallery 1983 and 1989 in Lincoln and in 1988 at Blackfriars Art Gallery.
