Description

Fine Early 19th Century oil on panel of cattle and sheep sat in a meadow.
Possibly English School, very much in the manner of Thomas Sydney Cooper. This painting has no visible signatures, however this was done by a very competent hand. It is in good condition with age related cracks to the paint.
On the verso is an original auction label dating to July 7th 1856.
Set in its original heavy gilt frame, the frame has some small losses.
