Description
A very large oil painting on canvas of a harbour scene in Antwerp, Belgium by Scottish artist Gerald M Burn, dated 1907.
The. Scene is set along a bustling waterfront, with many tall-masted sailing ships moored along both sides of the harbour.
The frame has a brass plate that reads ‘Bassin des Bateliers a Anvers’ which translates to ‘Basin of the Boatmen in Antwerp’.
