Description
Painted by Edward Mortelmans (1915-2008) for the cover of the western novel Cowhand. The artist was Anglo-Belgian and was famed for his book illustrations, particularly the work of Edgar Rice Burrows. This has the yellow edge which was the books spine and is signed by the artist. It is painted in gouache and framed under reflection free museum glass. The painting comes with a complimentary copy of the book.
