Description

A beautiful original oil painting on board by Mary Carter. It is titled 'The Blue Eyed Girl' and is a painting of a young girl with blue eyes, blonde hair wearing a floral blouse. Signed to bottom right and dated 1997. The artist Mary Carter was born in 1947, she studied at the Royal Academy of Art, and has exhibited at the RA Summer Exhibition since 1969. In 1987 she was awarded the 'Friends Miniature Prize'. Her work is in collections in the UK and overseas. The painting is mounted in a gilt distressed frame, and is ready for hanging. The back with gallery label for Richard Hagen Fine Paintings. Image Size: 8cm high by 7cm wide. Frame Size: 24cm high by 22.5cm wide. Dealer Code: 2845.
