Description

A lovely pair of antique early 20th century colour lithographs. They each feature an elegant lady in an elaborate dress or ball gown, one orange and one green. She is holding a white cockatoo in one image, and is about to feed it cherries. The other lithograph shows the lady with two flying doves. The backgrounds with stylised trees and flowers. They are of circular form and are signed in pencil by Rene Ligeron (1880-1946) a French artist. They are framed in identical black and gilt glazed frames. Picture size 41cm high by 40cm wide. Frame size 56cm high by 55.6cm wide. Dealer Code: 3398.
